 The 3rd annual Big Buzz Adult Spelling Bee, April 22, was a great success!
More than 100 people attended our Big Buzz Adult Spelling Bee, with 10 teams cheering and spelling to everyone’s delight! The Big Buzz Adult Spelling Bee is ROR Michigan's annual fundraising event. The proceeds will be used to provide books, training, and technical assistance to new and existing ROR programs throughout Michigan.
The winners this year were:
Best Spellers – Sleeping Bear Press (2nd Year!)
Most Creative Costumes – Michigan Department of Education (3rd Year!)
Most Enthusiastic Cheerleading – Detroit Derby Girls

Our 2nd Annual Snuggle Up with a Good Book Read-A-Thon was a success, thanks in large part to our use of Facebook to get the word out! This annual event occurs in the winter months, so start getting your reading list together now! We are hoping to see more book clubs get involved in 2011!
